therapy.
Here you will find information about me and my practice to help you make an informed decision about your care.
my approach
I am a Registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW and the ACSW. I have worked in the social and mental health sector for over a decade, and as a therapist for four years.
As a therapist, I believe that safety and connection are necessary foundations for healing to take place. I strive to create a compassionate, non-judgemental and supportive space for clients. I approach the exploration of healing with nuance, care and curiosity, and a practice embedded in anti-oppressive and trauma-informed values.
My approach is rooted in relational, trauma-focused, and narrative approaches, and I use a combination of talk therapy, and collaborative knowledge and skill building drawing from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Psychosomatic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

As a queer, West Asian diaspora, I am informed by lived- and learned- knowledge on intersections of race, class, sexuality, gender, and intergenerational trauma in client’s lives.
